Police are appealing for information following two burglaries at filling stations in Darsham and Framlingham.
The first offence took place at around 11pm last night, Monday 4 May, at Darsham Service Station on the A12 Main Road. The glass in a door was smashed to gain entry and cigarettes were stolen from inside.
This was followed by a second incident at just after 2am this morning, Tuesday 5 May, at the Jet garage in Station Road, Framlingham, where a window was smashed to gain entry and cigarettes were stolen from within.
Detectives believe these two crimes to be linked and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Anyone who was passing through either area at the relevant time and saw anything suspicious, or who has any other information that could assist, is asked to contact East CID at Lowestoft Police Station, quoting reference: 24761/20.
