sa 25 Apr 2026	This dry weather is not good for radio reception especially in our part of near the coast. When digital DABS becomes unlistenable you'll likely find FM still works acceptably.
fr 18 Oct 2024	Even allowing for it's always longer than you think we're still surprised that Detectorists is ten years old! It's gentle humour is still endearing and tonight Radio 4s Screenshot will be celebrating the anniversary.
tu 16 Apr 2024	We did say Radio 4 Long Wave is not going away but now we're not so sure. Some of the web thinks it was closing at the end of last month but we can still get it on our analogue Roberts.
tu 16 Jan 2024	Radio 4 Long Wave is not going away but from March (or possibly April) it will no longer have its own programming like the Shipping Forecast and the 198kHz broadcast frequency will still be maintained as an off air standard (see under Tech Spec).
tu 24 Sep 2019	Oh poo, flickr have started putting adverts in when flicking through a free account photostream and in the Martlesham Tesco a couple of weeks back there was a £20 personal cassette/radio with built in speaker and mike ... cassettes eh?
