sa 23 Jun 2018	Fish was a good friend to this web site and his chums both on and off line, especially in Framlingham. In 2011 tragically he laid down in front of a train and committed suicide. The bulletin board software has deleted the tribute to him, we have recovered the tribute which is now permanently at Fish 1972-2011.

We always thought it charmingly suitable that the smallest British coin had the tiny (the goldcrest is the smallest) British bird the wren on the reverse ... so comforting that the wren population, around Framlingham at least, seems to be increasing.

we 29 Jan 2014	Finally mobile phone users visiting us have a friendlier and stable(ish) if not polished version to see, the left and right side bars disappear and the central content is bigger so it can be read without zooming. It's been tested on four different telephones, comments welcome by email, Twitter or Facebook.
