fr 14 Apr 2023 photo ID | Thursday 4 May is the local elections and you will need photo ID ... surprisingly the Tories didn't also make it obligatory to be wearing a Barbour or green wellies. The back of your polling card (now an A4 paper) lists acceptable IDs apart from the obvious passport and driving license. If you have none of these (and we know people who don't) you can apply on line for a Voter Authority Certificate but you have to do it by Tuesday week the 25th. |

fr 7 Oct 2022 | Around 4.40pm yesterday in an alleyway off Post Mill Gardens Grundisburgh a woman in her 30s was threatened with what she believed to be a revolver and her wallet stolen. Just after 6pm a suspect was detained in Meeting Lane and an imitation firearm found in a nearby address. fr 18 Jun 2021 Thorington | Thorington Outdoor Theatre is a stunning natural ampitheatre in woods not far from Darsham. Last night we enjoyed Mini Mouth's dress rehearsal of A Mid-Summer's Night Dream for the theatre's opening tonight. The large cast from very mini and upwards were thoroughly enjoying themselves (especially the pre-show warm up) and keeping the stage manager active marshalling youthful spirits:)
